The MED-VALU Utilization Management Program
The purpose of the MED-VALU utilization review program is to promote the delivery of health care services in an effective cost efficient manner. The MED-VALU program will establish a process that continually monitors and evaluates the adequacy and appropriateness of health care services. The focus of the program is to prevent over utilization of care and make efficient uses of available resources.
